We make it easy to claim prescription glasses, with great value offers and an exclusive range of designer styles to help you get the most out of your vision plan. Plus, in most instances we can claim direct from your insurance company, saving you time and hassle. Here’s how you do it.
Claiming glasses with health insurance
Most health insurance plans include benefits for optical. And with us, there are lots of ways to get extra value when claiming your prescription glasses ‑ from designer frames to lens options. If you’re not sure what to claim, just come in for a chat with our store team who can help explain what you’re covered for.
Depending on your level of coverage and which health insurer you’re with, you may be eligible to claim two designer styles from the $199 range, complete with single‑vision lenses, for no out‑of‑pocket expense. The best part is, all our frame prices include single‑vision lenses with a scratch‑resistant coating as standard.

If you have optical coverage as part of your policy, come and see us in store where we can help you with what you can claim. If you’ve never had prescription glasses before, you can book in for an eye exam with one of our independent optometrists. This will help to determine whether you need to start wearing glasses and if you do, you’ll be given a prescription — which is required when claiming your glasses.
If you already wear prescription glasses, notice any changes to your vision, or you’re over 60, you may also benefit from an eye exam with one of our independent optometrists.
With most health insurers, you can claim your rebate on the spot in store. If you have an eye exam with us, we’ll keep your prescription on file so all you need to remember is your health insurance details to make claiming easy.
If you don’t need a prescription change, you can still use your optical coverage to get offers with us.
Take advantage of designer styles
Depending which health insurer you’re with and the level of your coverage, you can snap up two designer styles from our $199 range with no out‑of‑pocket expense. We’ve got hundreds of styles to choose from, whatever you need them for – so you can have a pair for day and a pair for play, or a pair for the car and a pair for the office.
Protect your eyes with prescription sunglasses
When taking advantage of our two designer styles with no or low out‑of‑pocket offer, why not choose prescription sunglasses as your second pair? So you can make sure your eyes are protected when the sun comes out.
Upgrade your lenses
If you need any extras, you may be eligible to get a rebate on our wide range of lens options, including sun tint, anti‑reflective options and special lenses for driving.
